Local events in North Weald and the surrounding area taking place this month are:-
| Saturday 9th January | Ploughman's Lunch | 12.00 - 1.30pm | North Weald Village Hall. All welcome. |
| Sunday 24th January | Winter Walk | 10.30am | St Clares Hospice, Hastingwood. 5km Winter Walk around the local countryside. Dogs are welcome. After the walk you will be treated to soup and rolls at the Hospice. Due to the rural nature of the course unfortunately it is unsuitable for wheelchairs or buggies.
