Half Term School Holidays

If you are looking for things to do over the next week, you will find below a long list of local events below:

Children wanted at Essex Police

Wednesday 26th October 2011

Children are invited to create their own wanted posters at Essex Police Museum in Chelmsford this half term.

Using pieces from a real 1970s identikit, children can use their imagination to make the posters on October 26, 2011 between 11am and 4pm. Who dunnit? What did they do? And how much will the reward be?
Museum Curator, Becky Wash, said: “This popular event is all about having fun while learning. It’s amazing how much policing has changed since the 1970s, and not just policing but also fashion, something the 1970s police photo-fit cards highlight well!”   Entry to this event is £1 per child taking part and it's suitable for all ages.

There is no need to book. Families can drop in anytime between 11am and 4pm.
The event takes place at the Essex Police Museum based at Essex Police HQ, on Sandford Road in Chelmsford, CM2 6DN. For more information contact Becky Wash, Museum Curator, on 01245 457150 or email museum@essex.pnn.police.uk.
