Magazine Advertising

North Weald Village Life ensures affordabe and effecitve advertising opportunities in both their magazine and on the website.

The magazine is produced monthly, it is established having been launched 4 years ago, over 1000 households receive  printed version of the magazine and it is available for download on this website.

Advertising rates in the North Weald Village Life magazine are affordable to encourage businesses of all types and sizes.  The rates are as follows:-

There are three main sizes of advertisements available (revised as of 27th September 2010 and come into effect from that date):-

Size 1 (portrait or landscape) 9cm x 12 cm = £15.00 per issue.

Size 2 (landscape only) 18cm x 12cm = £28.00 per issue.

Size 3 (portrait only) 18 cm x 26cm = £56.00 per issue.

New advertisement sizes added:-

Size 4 (portrait only) 9cm x  24cm = £28.00 per issue

Size 5 - Douple page spread - two pages opposite each other = £100 per issue

Size 6 - 5cm x 5cm = £8.50 per issue

The magazine is printed in black and white (mono) and is A4 size.

Any artwork provided should be in a format outlined below:-

Hard copy – we can scan in the artwork and resize if necessary, however the artwork must be printer ready and good quality.
CD - Supplied on a CD or floppy disk in a PC format either Word for windows, or PDF.
Electronic - Visuals or Logos supplied must be in a Tiff, Gif or Jpeg format.

We can layout text, logo and visuals at no extra cost and provide a proof to you prior to printing.
Alternatively, if you have a business card or a logo, you can supply me with this plus an additional wording you may require and I can lay it out and supply a copy to you for approval prior to printing at no extra cost.

Please note:-

• All advertisements must be booked by 5th of each month to appear in the issue that month (circulated on the 20th of each month). 
• Artwork and proofs must be provided and approved by 10th of each month.
• Advertisements must be paid for at the time of booking.   We can provide an invoice in hard copy or electronic copy.
  

Events
Many residents have confirmed that they never know when there is an event going on, organisations promoting an event have always relied on notice-boards which are not often read and easily missed. All events will be listed free of charge in the events diary in the newsletter and on the website. However if you want to promote a particular event, you can put an advertisement in the newsletter to promote this further (see above for rates).


Charities/Not for Profit
If you would like to advertise an event, this can be included in our events diary in both the newsletter and website free of charge.

However if you would like to place an advertisement in the newsletter or on the website, then I could offer you a substantial discount on the prices contained in this rate card. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this.
